Health for all

On 2nd of October 2023 Br. Michael Mbogo attended KCCB Health conference in Mombasa, Kenya. The conference was attended by all catholic health facilities administrators in Kenya. The theme of the conference was “health for all: towards sustainable financing of healthcare.” The conference was lead by Bishop Joseph Mbatia who is the chair of catholic health commission in Kenya and his vice Bishop Joseph Obanyi. Bishop Joseph Mbatia highlighted the high cost of living in the country, reimbursement problem of NHIF to health facilities and our call as catholic health facilities. Cabinet secretary of health Madam Susan Nakhumicha was present and she praised the effort and success of the catholic church in health care services in the country.
